Owner Comments: Marion Davidson says: I have had this Bird since 1980. This Thunderbird was specially ordered on December 15, 1956 and arrived in February, 1957 at Crenshaw Motors in Los Angeles, California. (I have the orginal buyers order and the orginal California title). It was titled and ordered by Janice Dalton of Los Angeles. It had 20,500 miles when secured in 1980 and it now now has 27,200 verified miles. It has 3-speed manual transmission with Overdrive and a rare non-port hole top which the Daltons specified on the order. Although I was a Ford dealer since 1960 and retired in mid-2000, it is still a show car for me.

Arthur Ash III reports that it was sold for $62,640 at the Barrett-Jackson auction in January, 2006.
