Regrettably, the Registry and its intention to provide open access to Thunderbird enthusiasts has become the prey of those of who would annoy and distract us. Spammers, gate crashers, and those fluent in vulgarisms are all too common. And overly-curious surfers simply want to see the Registration form, then navigate away from it which costs the site server time - that translates into dollars spent to amuse those not actually interested in the subject.

It's necessary to have a "firewall" with a secure registration link.  There are two ways to pass through the firewall.

1. Send an email requesting the Registration Page link and password. Response time is anywhere from 5 minutes to 12 hours.    or,

2. Make a $1 donation to the Registry and receive immediate access. It is not the Registry's intention to profit from this action, but  cyber criminals will not spend one dollar especially when their activity is tracked by PayPal.  When the  $1 donation is received the confirmation page takes you immediately to the password disclosure page and registration link - - - -  and you get a PayPal confirmation.
